JTS97Z28 Posted May 29, 2007 Report Share Posted May 29, 2007 I am selling my 05 Grand Cherokee which I tried to get the factory parkview back up cam system to work. Since the option was not available in 05 model year I had no luck getting it to work. Since I have that camera and it is doing nothing I am curious if any of you would know how to get this cam to work with an aftermarket nav. Im guessing all the aftermarket units simply use an RCA input for the cam. This OEM camera has a 4 wire harness. How can I convert this to work with an aftermarket unit? here is the diagram of the harness that comes out of the camera... Thanks for any help James Quote Link to post Share on other sites
cntrylvr79 Posted May 29, 2007 Report Share Posted May 29, 2007 Based on the picture you'e showing, pin 3 is the positive of the video rca. pin 2 is the negative. Pin 5 is ground. and pin 6 would be the power feed. The only problem you ma run into is the camera may not output the porper video signal to work with an avic. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
