EclipsedEvo
I have the XM NavTraffic and XM Radio module installed on my AVIC D3, and I was able to activate my XM Radio. The XM Radio is working fine, but when I go to the NavTraffic, the Radio ID is blank and no XM signal is identified. Thus, all the NavTraffic functionality is greyed out. JasonH
You need to connect the data cable.
tweety
Data Cable? I am having the same issue but haven't called on XM help desk yet. The cable running from my module to the HU is black to blue. The XM stations work but the traffic doesn't. Is there something else that needs to be plugged in?
JasonH
There are 2 cables. One is the standard Pioneer IP-Bus cable (black/blue) and one is a proprietary data cable for the NavTraffic.
dwhitley0381
I live in Houston and I have had that happen... if it worked before then the system is down. it will come back up....
tweety
Okay so one of my cables isn't plugged in then. I open up the pages for the install for the XM module and it shows one way. Black to blue, XM to head unit. Open up the pages for the Z2 install and it talks about something different. Black to black, XM to head unit. I think that I got lost when the Z2 papers show other stuff inline and I figured that I didn't need them so I didn't follow the path for the one cable.
