ntrprize
My current Ipod interface is the IB100. It has been in 3 cars with 2 different radios. The ipod wire has an open in it from being moved around, plugged, unplugged, and just general use and abuse. Since you cant change the cable, I need a new one. Now pioneer has the IB100II. Is this a better unit? What are the differences between the units? Can I just pull the old box out and put the new one in or are there wiring and connection differences? I am checking into pioneers website, but their search function seems like it is down, and their documentation for the ipod modules sucks. As fas as I can tell, the Z1 cannot take the single IP bus adapter (CD-I200). It would be great if it did, but I bet that wont come until the Z3 comes out.
whtcrxghst
They are exactly the same except for the ipod cable and connector so it should be an easy swap for you. There are no performance differences
