D3 going into a 2005 350Z

Hello,

 

I am installing a D3 into my 350Z and I need the VSS wire location

as well as a location close to the radio for the reverse lead.

I am also having a radio reception problem...as in I have no reception.

Any ideas?

No reception with either the stock radio or D3, I am wondering

if there is a fuse/relay for the antenna amp.

nissan antennas suck.... so thats prob y.... vss is pink wire in wire harness did you get the adapter for the stock antenna?

What adapter would be needed for the antenna?

It plugged right into the d3. I do have the harness adapter

but two of the plugs from the oem radio go unused.

Also, the factory radio is doing the same thing now that

it did not do before I started taking things apart.

Neither the factory radio or the D3 have radio reception.

the stock antenna plug should have two pins coming out of it... the d3 only accepts a single pole... look at crutchfield they should be able to tell u wut kind of antenna is needed but an adapter is required.... yes only one harness is used for you nissan... the other plugs have to do with steering wheel controls and so on.... but the vss wire is that color you see in the pic (pink)... if you are still haveng problems pm me ill send you pics of my install
