proxy
hey all, I just got my D3 installed the other night, its awesome! I was just wondering what is the best way to clean the screen without ruining anything? Thanks!
LUNARFX
Paint thinner. Just kidding. There was a thread on this already so don’t forget to use the Search feature. I use a small terry cloth and sprinkle water on my screen.

Two_Cold
It is when I play with the hose infront of the D2 that it gets dirty.
rob_6ave.com
a tv cleaning kit or a camera cleaning kit is the best way it basically a micro fiber cloth with a solution spry that devolves greasy finger tips
jim9251
Office Depot sells LCD screen cleaning stuff. I use that with a camera lens cloth. Well, and a brillo pad when it's really dirty.* * DISCLAIMER: The use of a brillo pad on your very expensive radio is at your own risk.
kingchkn
I'd get a screen protector. You can grab one from eBay pretty cheap. Just get a soft cloth or microfiber cloth with some warm water.

OrangeElement
I would only use a solution made for LCD screens. You can pick this up at any store that sells flat panel monitors or Televisions. I bought a kit that includes a static-free brush to dust it with before wiping the solution across the screen. This cuts down on any chance of scratching the screen. Also when using the solution, remember to spray it on the cloth and never directly on the screen. Congrats on your new D3. It's an awesome system as you obviously know already.
