momo Posted June 29, 2007 Report Share Posted June 29, 2007 all right just had my D3.. bypassed it, everything works like a charm... ok now just a quicky 1 ... is there any way to copy the Nav DVD in the actual D3 HD or in the ipod with a small bypass in the D3 to read it directly from the ipod or its own HD... However, it is dvd-based nav, not HDD-based nav. Hello Mr. Clueless, The D3 does NOT have a harddrive. It uses non-volatile flash memory to store those things you mentioned. Disconnect the battery. If the D3 had a harddrive, the settings would be stored physically on the harddisk. Try the experiment. See if it has a harddrive or flash memory. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
