Silentalero
Ok Im stitting at the shop and we're trying to figure something out and maybe one of ya has already tried it. But looping the video out to the rear monitors into the video in for the auxilary so this way the z2 thinks its watching a movie in the rear. I guess the question is does the unit still shut off the AV video source while driving?
bobmun
on the unit screen yes. you could loop it into the back up camera input and put a switch on the reverse wire and watch that way.
Silentalero
Well we just went around the lot and the dvd was playing off its own source while driving. Im gonna leave the AV input for the ipod cable so i can watch music videos through that. (since the ipod unit wont) All i did was bypass the ground and put a switch on it and the movie was playing. Went up to 50 mph and i had full usage.
HenryJ
Hmmm.... was the serial number on the box that it came in on a yellow sticker? If not the bypass may quit after a few miles.
Silentalero
yea, the bypass stuck it back at me. Gave me the "your moving so F u" screen.....back to the drawing board
