Hey guys, been searching and can't find anybody who has the same problem yet nor can i find a solution. I was installing the z2 in somebodies car and hit the button for "reset to factory settings" and it did that. Now when I start it the unti is froze on the splash screen. Wont load, no sound, beeps buttons or nada. Even if i open the face to the cd tray the cd image wont appear on the face while its flipped down. Ive tried holding the map button and resetting it, and hit the "soft" reset and still nada. Anybody got some insight?

Ok guys for those who made the upgrade what are your thoughts? Right now I have a Z110bt in my hands but its unopened and im still hesitant to pull the trigger and switch. (can always return it). Do you regret going to the new unit? I know the obvious downsides (no dual navi screen and vehicle dynamics) and the upsides of faster ipod control ect. Would you go back to your z2/z3 given the chance now after messing with this for a while?

I heard there is a hack out there to add the vehicle dynamics to the Z110bt? Or split screen? These are the 2 main things holding me back and it would be nice if pioneer or somebody could do this.

So any update on how to get the British accent? Def a nice change of pace

Actually guys, that $1150 is very close to dealer cost. Sucks right now im debating pulling the trigger to replace my z2

Wow, reading this is def making me change my mind a bit on pulling the trigger. I have a z2 now and the split screen is def one of my fav thing (also because you can split between rear camera and navi). The Vehicle Dynamics is also a buzz kill. That was one of my fav things when hitting on on ramp (G forces). Now its the debate of how long itll take pioneer before they could fix this or change it. Or any chance we'll get lucky enough to get an upgrade cd and add some toys?

Hey guys, we just slapped in the unit in the denali and get sound when the ignition is on but when the car itself turns on we dont get any audio. We've tried narrowing it down but im lost at this point. Any input it greatly appreciated

so has anybody figured anything out with this? Mine did it on a regular dvd. Are all of your units bypassed? Maybe the software upgrade does it? Might as well try to narrow it down

i got the same fuggin error....def a mistake in pioneers part on the unit...Doesnt matter what media goes in there. Probably just a cheap dvd player they used with it. Im sending mine back since i got the warranty...This is a load of crap

ok i burned with nero and put the folder called "pictures" and the z2 says there is no "pictures" folder?? what am i missing? Ive burned 2 cd's and even had the laptop in front of me and copied the pictures word exactly thinking i missed something and still nada. I put the 100mb junk files in it.

yo dood, im here in chicago and i just updated mine (still have to do the 2 wire bypass) and it worked fine, if ya want we can meet up somewhere.

its easy. Just get a cable for the ipod to connect it to a vga source and use it as an aux + bypass = problemo solvedo
