Need a new Mic

I may have damaged my microphone moving the system from one vehicle to another.

 

I need to know where I can get a new one. I cannot find one on the Pioneer website.

 

Think Radio Shack will have one that works?

 

What size is the plug on the Pioneer mike? It wont fit into my computer, its too small, so Im unsure of what to do.

another standard mic will work. I used one from a old motorola hands free kit

Radioshack sells several microphones for TomTom and Garmin Nav units. As long as they use mini-plugs they should work.

Has anyone used a different mic and actually seen an improvement in performance/clarity?

 

People always complain I sound garbled on the AVIC. I really miss the Sony Ericsson handsfree car kit I had to take out when I put the Avic in.

Yes...... I had my phone working with my Z1 and everything worked great, when it was swapped for a Z2 using the same bluetooth mod. people told me that I was breaking up. Yesterday I tried a different Pioneer mic that I had laying around. This mic came with my 7500DVD for the auto EQ. It is a small round mic and people said that they couldn't tell I was using the bluetooth with using that mic.
