Scooter_Alberta
Just about done the install on the Z2, but having problems locating the parking brake wire. I did read some where that its the lt green/red or just lt green, can anyone verify for me please. Thanks Scott
70Stingray
On my 2004 I picked it up at the switch. I am unsure of the color. I just used a multi-tester and checked it. You have to use the switched side. Just check one side with the parking brake off. Ground one lead of the tester and put the other on one wire if you get continuity then check the other wire. That should be the wire to tap into. You should only get continuity on that wire with the parking brake on.
MisFit
Parking Brake lt. green/red - switch or cluster, blue plug, pin
Scooter_Alberta
Switch or Cluster Blue plug pin 18? I'm sorry I don't know what that means, is that a blue plug into the fuse box, I don't think so as none of them are blue. I followed the ground, and and it's meets 3 other wires that are all taped up, can you give me a little direction as to where the light green/red wire is. Thanks
MisFit
if you look at your paring brake. at the top of the assembly, there should be a single wire connected to it with a large black plastic connector
