druth Posted July 15, 2007 Report Share Posted July 15, 2007 My SIR-PNR2 is dead. I was having all the symptoms that are described in the other threads. I would get really inconsistent symptoms. Sometimes it would start playing as soon as I started the car and then it would stop within 3-5 mins. other times I would start the car and it would just sit there saying 'Aquiring Signal'. I have tried every possible thing I can think off...grounds, connections and connectors, power to the sirpnr2....etc. I have called sirius and they said to call pioneer. Pioneer says I have to fax them my receipt and they will contact me with return info. I think I am going to buy another unit, return mine and then sell the refurb unit Pioneer returns to me. druth Posted July 23, 2007 Author Report Share Posted July 23, 2007 Back in business....I ended up ordering a new one from circuitcity.com b/c the company I purchased from did not have anymore in stock to exchange so they are letting me return for a refund b/c pioneer would not honor the waranty b/c it turns out the origninal company is not an authorized internet retailer.
