taichi2134
I install my Z1 on my RSX and using the 2 wire ground bypass and it work great. I am able to watch DVD and full Nav function while in motion. But I am sick of the error message I keep getting at boot up. The message say that it "detect the break senor wired incorrectly" or something along that line. I just push "OK" and continue. Is there a way to get rid of that. Thanks
chidoc
That message shouldn't come up if you bypassed it correctly but try to reset it and see if it works right.
MisFit
the mute wire is no longer getting ground. check your connections
ducatiboy
Of if it's working will in motion and you get the pop up message, it was there before you did the 2 wire ground. If you only grounded the parking brake initially, and you got that message and then grounded both wires, all you need is a reset (recessed button to the right of eject). But if you never just grounded the parking brake, did the 2 wire ground and the Z1 is "new" (not too many miles on it) then Misfit is right, you need to correctly ground the second wire. chidoc
I concur with Misfit and Ducatiboy
taichi2134
I will give it a try, It was both grounded to begin with. I have check the ground connector and use the original pin from the phone mute for the second secret wire so it should be fine. I will check it out tomorrow morning and thanks.
