justzx Posted July 19, 2007 Report Share Posted July 19, 2007 Hey guys, with your help I was able to install my AVIC-D3 pefectly excvept for a bit of confusion on the Speed Pulse Wire (pink). Obviously connecting this wire wont pinpoint my location or direction. The harness that I picked up has a pink wire (which is at the moment free), are these two to be connected? From reading around ppl say look for pink, violet/red, grey/black, purple/red. Confused Quote Link to post Share on other sites
offroaderf150 Posted July 19, 2007 Report Share Posted July 19, 2007 if you picked up the scosche harness then yes the pink wire is the speed sense. just plug in the harness and look on the factory side of the harness. if the pink wire is in line with the factory grey/black wire then thats it.
