BUY.COM really sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!

:evil: Save yourself, never shop at BUY.COM :evil:

 

I bought an MP3 player that was defective and did not work with Windows Vista, they told me they would credit me. They received the defective merchandise 5 weeks ago and are still deciding whether or not to credit me.

 

:evil: I WILL NEVER SHOP AT BUY.COM AGAIN. :evil:

 

I purchased things in the past with no problems, but that's where a company shows it's true colors is when something goes wrong. BUY.COM is not the people to have something go wrong with.

 

The operator said they had called my mobile and left several messages, not true, she also said that they e-mailed me repeatedly, not true. I hate dirty business, and that's what they are.............

 

Thanks for letting me vent, and please take my advice.

I just checked, and I have placed 42 orders with buy.com...not once have I had a problem with them. In fact, many times I have ordered with "free shipping" and have received the item the NEXT day!!!

 

buy.com and newegg are my favorites!!!

Call them back and threaten to reverse the charges.

 

If that doesn't scare them, then call your CC company and dispute the charges.

 

Already done, now they are saying that they can't resolve the charge until I drop the dispute, and since then they have lied to me at least once on every one of the 7 customer service calls that I have placed for follow up on my credit, I don't trust them to credit me if I drop the dispute.

 

I had many orders with them and had no problems up to this point, but, this is the first time I've had to return something, and not because I didn't want the product, but because it was defective, this is where they show you what they are made of, and so far it seems to be nothing good that I can see.

 

I am truley glad to hear that others have gotten freebies etc from them, I hope more people do, I've gotten nothing free and don't expect it, I just want my money back for the defective product. CARDOMAIN.COM is now getting my business, their service is phenomenal.

 

Due to buy.com's lack of customer service, I bought the AVIC-D3, cabling, I-pod, amps, sub etc etc elsewhere, they lost $1800 in sales from me in just the last month.

Think twice and check around, one of their managers just lied to me again about 5 minutes ago stating that I had been credited 4 weeks ago, I've spoken to the credit card company 4 or 5 times since that date, no credit. They have also refrained from contact with the credit card company, not returning their calls or e-mails.

 

If you buy from cardomain.com, they give you all the hardware you need to install vehicle specific, and look for a $20 off coupon on line. I'm glad buy.com showed me who they are before I bought my system for my truck, I saved money and got everything I needed right up front.

I think the Z2 on cardomain is like 2k. That is just too much when I can get it for 1.3.5k on buy.com. I know it's a gamble, but that is alot of money saved there and I just might get it with problem. Sorry for your unfortunate event man. =(
