royrapoport
I'm told by Crutchfield the 2004 Grand Prix only has 6.6" of depth, but that at least the D3 is 6.9" deep, and so it won't fit. Anyone know if there's a workaround, or if they're simply being too anal? -roy
installthis06
Yea there is a piece of plastic on the grand prix in the rear that you can remove if need be.
cntrylvr79
Cut the plastic, though I didn't in the 06 I did not too long ago. Funny thing is crotchfelled sent the guy a single din kit and told the guy to cut the kit to make the avic fit. We got him the double din kit and he was a lot happier doing it that way. The Rupp
Like everyone else said... it's possible. My friend installed a Z2 in his Grand Prix and we had to remove part of that as well.
