Hey all i have a question, I have the avic-d3 and i want to put a sub in my trunk. I read that the avic already has an amp, so all i need is a speaker right? i called bestbuy they said that i need an amp and a speaker..is this true?? thx

hello, i have 2 questions: 1. my installer of my d3 said he shouldn't hook up the illumination wire because it will blow out all my interior lights of my 2004 grandprix gtp...is he bs' n' me? 2. after i do my bypass, will the annoying message stop popping up when u switch to navi mode (WARNING message) thanks all

does the d2 and d3 have same harness?

this is going to sound stupid, but do i need to disconnect the battery before i try bypassing the system? next question if i bypass the system will it take away the message that appears everytime i start up the car and switch to map mode? another thing you said ground the mute wire and green parking brake, so do i need to find the other end of the wire and disconnect it from being hooked up to ground it? soz for the easy questions but lol im stupid on this subject

i have an 04 gtp, and i had to take all the plastic out and get a metra bracket

btw i do not need to buy anyother wiring/ harnesses to do the switch?

or just turn the screen off by holding down that button lol i forgot which 1 it is

Hello all again, do i need the illumination wire hooked up for the d2? if so what would it do, is there a nightmode coloring in the map? i am going to upgrade to a d3 next week so same questions for it...thx also i dont think the vss wire is hooked up properly, because i dont hear the sound go up and down, what do i need to do to fix this? i have all harnesses installed professionally i thought lol, but i will be taking on this task for my new avic
