Recommended Posts

XMXâ„¢ - XM 2

Now on the air, XMX is an innovative new channel dedicated to XM exclusive music programming. XMX will feature XM's most popular and critically-acclaimed original music shows all in one place, including "Theme Time Radio Hour with Your Host Bob Dylan," "Tom Petty's Buried Treasure," "In the Swing Seat with Wynton Marsalis," "Quincy Jones' Off the Charts" and XM's signature performance/interview series "Artist Confidential®," among others. While new episodes of XM's original music series will continue to air in their regular timeslots and on their home channels, "XMX" will be uniquely scheduled in a 'program of the day' format designed to provide listeners with more opportunities to tune in anytime and listen to episode premieres or catch up on episodes from previous weeks or seasons.

Starbucks XM Café - XM 45

Hear Music and XM Café® have combined to create Starbucks XM Café (XM 45) offering the best of both channels. You'll hear a mix of new and emerging artists, exclusive shows, live performances plus Artist's Choice sets and essential music from a wide range of genres - all commercial-free. Starbucks XM Café is the best way to take the sound of Starbucks with you wherever you go.

Big XII Play-By-Play - XM 241 & 242

Starting with the 2007 season, XM will air select Big XII football games each week, the Big XII football championship, select Big XII men's and women's basketball games as well as complete coverage of the Big XII men's and women's basketball tournaments. Make sure to tune into XM 241 and XM 242 this fall for all the Big XII action including games from the University of Texas and Oklahoma State! With the addition of the Big XII Conference, XM is now the official satellite radio network for the six BCS conferences in college sports - Big Ten, Big XII, SEC, Pac-10, ACC, and Big East. College football programming returns during August with LSU vs. Mississippi State slated for August 30, kicking off what is sure to be a season to remember.

P.O.T.U.S. '08 - XM 130

In September, XM will formally launch P.O.T.U.S., a new radio channel dedicated to the 2008 presidential election, marking the first time that a national radio channel has been devoted to a presidential campaign. The 24-hour, commercial-free channel, created in association with C-SPAN and other media outlets, is named after the acronym used by government insiders for the President of the United States. The presidential election channel will feature news updates, candidate interviews, complete speeches, debate coverage, latest polling results, fundraising status, and live call-in shows. The channel will provide free airtime for presidential candidates to speak to voters. Non-traditional media outlets, such as bloggers and podcasters, will provide content for the channel. It will also air archival audio of historic moments from past campaigns, tapping C-SPAN's rich political archive.

Additional changes:

E! Entertainment (XM 162) and Sonic Theater (XM 163) will be broadcast on weekdays only: (Monday - Friday 12mid-11:59PM ET) effective August 3.
