Help Please: finding flex ribbon for avicn1

I just read a post from a member about the sticking of the screen. My screen wont go back in, his post was helpfull in regards to the problem. Does anyone know where I can get the replacement flex cable, Pioneer is out of stock & I cant find it anywhere else. Can anyone help out?

Won't Pioneer fix it for free if you send it in?

yes but i dont want to wait for them to take their time fixing it. If I have to I will. But I would to do it over the weekend, so I can get it right back in.

i have a ribbon cable that i ordered from pioneer and put into and avic n1 and it turned out the lcd was out. the problem is that it sticks down to a metal plate and to remove it i had to pull pretty hard ill be putting it on ebay nr just to get rid of it.

 

on sunday the 19th im going to have a big avic auction on ebay.

these will all be 1$ starting bid no reserve shipping to US only

 

i have the following:

1: avic n1, brain data, cable gps ant, fm extension, rev and vss ext, pioneer xm brain box, ipbus cable, power cable for xm, and sat antenna for xm. i hope to get at least 150 out of this

 

2: ribbon from avic n1 (and possibly the avic n1 with bad screen to go with it, the only problem is its in pieces) maybe 20 for the ribbon if i include the avic unit maybe 50

 

3:brand new avic n1 n2 n3 data cable

scince its new id like at least 40 bucks

 

4: 1 used gps antenna for all avics tested and working

i expect to get at least 20 bucks

 

5 other random avic parts like steering wheel remote and cages and trim rings i havnt got all of them sorted yet

 

anyways if anyones interested check ebay next week and happy bidding!
