installing a d3 in a 2004 silverado

ive got a d3 coming tomorow, what installation kit should i use to install it in a 2004 chevy silverado, and where can i get it.

Any help on how to install it would be greatly appreciated.

american international kit GM-K422 (usually packaged with GM-K420, just look in the bag)

 

Metra kit 99-2003 (make sure the pocket is removable, and not molded to get a cleaner look)

 

or schosche kit GM1590

 

I mostly use the american international kits, they have very good fitment

Well, I think that is what they tried to do with the "Vehicle Specific Wiring" forum. Although, it seems that every time I come to this site I can't help but see "VSS" plastered all over the front page. I like to come here to learn about real problems/solutions and other information that people share. I also used the abundant information on this forum to install my own D3 (in particular, the link I posted above), which is why I pass it on to others. (Even tho it was very easy to find with the Search feature).
