Also the VSS wire is used to give more accurate positioning with the nav when going through mtns, up and down hills and tunnels. The reverse wire is mainly used if you are planning to hook up a reverse camera. It gets the signal and turn the camera on. installermarc Posted August 23, 2007 Report Share Posted August 23, 2007 vss is green/white at the instrument cluster (guages), and is in the 4th pin in. there is another green/white 3 pins in on the connector THIS IS NOT IT. reverse if you want to hook it up is light green at the reverse light.
