slotour Posted August 23, 2007 Report Share Posted August 23, 2007 After a failed attempt to solder the bypass on an orginal N1 screen. I gave up and re-installed the unit, failing to realize I ripped the ribbon cable. Sad Sad Anyways, I decided to set the unit aside and look for a N3 Screen for an N1 hide-away. I found one on eBay that says that... "NOTE: Unit seems to be fine during bench testing, but it has been reported that when installed in a vehicle the unit will constantly recalculate driving directions / navi malfunctions... selling AS-IS." I would assume this means that the hide-away is having issues, nothing in the screen. I am wanting to know if I can use this screen with an N1 hide-away.
