caglezxj
I have a toyota tacoma access cab trd sport. I just installed a pro comp 6" lift with 35" tires. And now I installed the D3. The installation was not bad at all. For anyone needing to know, the SPEED sensor wire comes out of the 2nd plug from the bottom of the ECU. It is a purple and white wire. I will get some pictures up soon. Josh
cdaniel76
instead of digging all the way to the computer, you can tap into the wires where they go into the instrument cluster. That's what I did with my D1 on my 06 Tacoma and also did it on my 06 Tundra with my new D3. You'll need access to a wiring diagram to see which pins to tap into. cntrylvr79
I may be thinking of the wrong interior, but as far as I remember. The ecu is a fair bit easier to get to than the gauge cluster harness.
caglezxj
It is much easier getting to the ecu, the dash comes out easy and the ecu is right there. I would not attempt anything else. Plus I know that the purple and white wire going into the 2nd plug from the bottom is the wire I need. Keep it simple.
usgrcm
Hey does anyone know what the wire is on an 03 Tacoma? (SR5, V6 4WD, Auto, Xtracab-If all that matters)
