Would someone with the new update mind checking to see if an address is now on the maps??? I've been in my house now for 5 years (new construction) and had an AVIC (D1 & D3) for a total of 4 years now and they STILL don't have my street on the maps. The address is: 1000 McCartney Ct. Yeah... Anyone.... Anyone....????? Just tried mine tonight and got nothing by either method (searching from phone for pioneer unit or searching from pioneer unit for the phone). They both detect one another but they just won't pair.... HEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wish they made an APP that works with Palm's operating system and not just Windows Mobile.... Ugh! I can't get my new Centro to pair for nothing!

I had a Moto Q with Sprint service (dark gray Q) and it connected perfectly with the D3 thru the bluetooth adapter. After you register it, it automatically connects and disconnects when you turn your vehicle on and off. It also plays your ringtone through the speakers when your phone rings. The only downfall I found in the short time I had the Q was that there wasn't an audible alert that would sound when a message; voice, text, sms, etc, would come through. I hope this helps.

I had a Q for a while and it worked perfectly with the D3. Even plays your selected ringer from the phone through the speakers when your phone rings.

Shackett, I have the new Palm Centro and I'm getting the same problem when using the D3 to search for the phone. When I use the "Connection Open" option and search for the D3 from the phone, after I put in the 0000 passcode, the phone tells me it's connected and paired, but the D3 keeps saying "pairing" forever. Have you been able to get yours paired? -Chris

Yes, it does show up on that software, but the pinpoint location for my address is incorrect. At least it shows my street though, and all the others in my subdidvision.

Took a trip from New Orleans to Pensacola this weekend. In Gulf Breeze, FL, about 10 minutes from Pensacola Beach and my hotel, the navigation tells me to "make a u-turn and then make a u-turn if possible".... WHAT THE F#@K????? How can a navigation be so screwed up to tell someone to make back-to-back u-turns (you'll be going in the same direction as originally going) on a major highway that's been there for many years. Anyone know if the PNR1 Sirius unit will work with the D3? I bought the PNR1 to work with my D1 but didn't like the crappy interface between those two units. The PNR1 has been collecting dust for about 2 years now. Is it compatibale with the D3 and if so, is the interface better than it was on the D1 or do I just need to drop the dough on a PNR2? Also, is there a new model coming out soon to replace the PNR2? I think I read somewhere that there's supposed to be one coming out soon.... Thanks!

Well I figured it out... I went out there with the intention of making sure I was all plugged in correctly and while I had it apart, perform the "bypass". So I get the dash all taken apart and pull the radio out. All connections look fine. Everything's where it's supposed to be. Tried changing the AV1 and AV2 setups and still nothing... So I decided to come back to that later and start on the bypass. First thing I do is look for the yellow/black mute wire on the AV harness.... Can't find it... What gives???? So I think back to when I uninstalled the D1 and installed the D3.

If it were plugged into the AV1, wouldn't it allow me to push the AV1 button on the Source Menu? The AV1 button is "grayed" out. The AV2 button is the only other button, besides "Radio", that is opperable. I'll go out and give it a try real quick and report my findings. Thanks for your reply

I just switched from a D1 to a D3 and am having trouble getting my external, stand-alone Sirius receiver to work with the D3. I have it plugged in to the red & white RCA input plugs on the accessory harness. The D3 recognizes it and shows me SOMETHING is plugged into the AV-2 input but will not play anything through the system. If I go into the settings, it only allows me to select "Video" as the AV source. My D1 allowed me to change the AV input source to either Video or Audio (The D3 only gives me a Video option, no Audio choice). Also something else weird about the D1 was it N

I've had this same problem with my D1 recently. It's been installed in my truck for almost two years without a problem. It's an intermittent problem though. Sometimes the reset button works, sometimes it doesn't. If the reset button doesn't work, I just leave it alone for a few days and for some reason it'll start working again... Weird... Anyone else have these issues or know of a resolution?
