mtnbiker717
My gps wire got cut (my bad, ran the wire in a bad spot). My question are there any after market antenna that will work with the n2, I have never seen a connector like the one that is on the stock gps. I want to be able to drill a hole in my roof and route the wire that way. Thanks in advance!
installthis06
no..you must use the pioneer one. And that sounds like you will have a wet head if you do it that way. You should really mount the antenna on the dash or under the dash(as long as no metal obstructs it). Those antennas are so shitty and only last a year or so from the weather. Eddywill
My antenna lasted a few weeks I spent hours trying to figure it out. I ended up pulling the lead from the brain to the antenna - I found it came back on when I tugged on the wire coming out of the antenna I opened it up and found corrosion on it. My unit is is not accurate right now as I had to splice the wire too. I am bidding on a new GPS antenna now and will keep it in the car this time!
