Pioneer N3 NAV and bypass questions

Recommended Posts

Ok I have a Pioneer N3 and read about switching the switch and grounding the brake (green) wire... My local installer siad that yeah it will work but mess up the gyro in the brain... Is there any truth to that and if so what does it mess up... My NAV question is this... Does anyone have there arrow pointing backwards? I have the brain mounted flat on the floor in the correct direction according to the arrows and the GPS antennas on the outside on the roof of my truck.. Whe your driving instead of the screen moving down it moves up sowing more of where ya were rather than were your going? Any idea whats up with this???

Thanks for your help and/or ideas in advance..

Hi and thanks for the info...

Well I have now bypassed the unit with no problems... The only thing I ever noticed even before the bypass is Ive had it tell me to make a turn when it dosent exist.... Everything seems ok otherwise. Ive had it in my truck and have been playing with it and still figuring out everything... Overall I love it...
