4000 Nex auto eq question

Just got the Pioneer microphone to do an auto equalization. However the settings for auto equalization on the head unit are grayed out. Heard that It might be something to do with the e-brake bypass.

Any ideas?

Have you tried turning off all inputs. Home button, then arrow up to show inputs, hit off on bottom right. Then see if it is greyed out.

E-brake issue normally only is for video, but since this is only done with engine off, and key on. It could be keeping it from working.

Like joe said above, I had seen where if a pbrake override is install then you may not be able to do auto eq

I do have bypass installed, and it was greyed out once, but if I recall, I had to turn off all inputs. After updating to 1.08 firmware, I reset head unit, and have yet to get out mic and set the eq again.

The instructions for running auto-eq setup actually has a step that says to turn off AV.  The one before it says to disconnect phone.
