AVIC-F700BT black screen - can´t load WinCE

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I´m newbe here, but with service of electronic equipments I have lot of skills.

AVIC-F700BT, which I´m trying get back to life is after amateur intervention.

I exchanged damaged FPC connector on TFT board and FPC cable between

TFT board and switch board.

After that now I´m able switch unit to the service mode. BUT when I run

WinCE update from SD, it start read from 0 to 100% and in this state it

remain. Update WinCE will NOT start.

Read lot of threads at this forum, but all solution without sucess.

What I´m doing wrong ? Can I run test mode without previous WinCE

update ? How to factory reset ?

In service manual between Jig and Tools is info about service data disc

GGV1322. Anybody have tested this tool ? Can it solve my problem ?

Thank you for any idea. At this moment I´m lost.

Regards

Petku

but which firmware is the best for maximum performance and which maps are latest ?

Found maps 2014 Q1, but I have not experiences with map update on Pioneer units.
How to register new maps in the unit ? Thanks for any relevant info.
