That's only one avenue. Naviextras Toolbox is another. Uses HU Sync Tool, Naviextras Toolbox installed on internet-connected computer, and USB media to transfer data. Free update through Naviextras is limited, same as any other type of map updating system... but there is also pay-for map updates available and third-party POI's can be uploaded to the HU. Even when/if AvicSync gets released, there will be some data/info that will be free and some will require subscription. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
