bullitz400
Hey guys. Installed my N3 and everything seems to work pretty nice but i seem to have a loud pop when i shut on and off the N3. I heard this was the sound of the amps turning on? I have a 2001 Audi TT with bose stereo and an N3. Every bose piece is stock as well as amps. I heard there is a bypass for this? Thanks Ryan

installermarc
may want to try a few different things to fix this. first- try plugging the factory radio back in and measure the amp remote wire voltage. if it anything less than 10 volts dc, then you will need a resistor in line of the amp turn on. my bullitt mustang had this problem without a 2k ohm resistor, the turn on from factory was 5 volts. i don't remember what the tt has for a turn on. second- if the turn on voltage is 12 volts, then you may need a noise filter to increase the output impeadance of the n3. MIGHT solve the problem. third- if all else fails and it still bugs you, bypass the bose amp. alot more work, but it could be done.

travisj315
I had the same issue in my lincoln Ls, I ran my N3 through my factory system and i had the pop nosie. Just put a resistor in-line of the remote wire and it will resolve the problem for you.
