InstaBurn
I am trying to figure out if there is a way to enable the 3-way active cross-over/network mode on the NEX 8000. Possibly flash a tweaked ROM to the unit? Maybe there is a hidden service menu that allows to enable this feature? Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. kelkin
What are you talking about?
jhren
I believe that he believe the 8000 uses the same digital processor chip as the some other Pioneer head units. I don't know for a fact one way or the other. Anyway, the so-called-by-Pioneer Network mode is in essence an active three-way stereo crossover system. Using such, the consumer loses Front, Back channels and fader control in lieu of sub-mid-high left, right only output.
