I have a 7000nex and Ive been trying to update the map. I though i need it the NAVIEXTRA toolbox to do this. At lease this is what I think i need. I try to connect an SD card in my computer, it works perfectly well but the toolbox software does not recognize it. Does anyone have the free update to the US maps around here? or a better alternative to update this software? Thank you Quote Link to post Share on other sites
cowan Posted November 8, 2015 Report Share Posted November 8, 2015 You must first connect your sd card or usb drive to the unit and run synctool from the navigation settings menu. This will format the memory card/usb drive and toolbox will recognise the device and offer any free updates you are entitled to. If available you will be prompted to download to your card following which you'll need to plug it into the radio and run synctool again to apply the update(s) Quote Link to post Share on other sites
