BlizzardMotors@gmail.com
What's the benefit of going with the D3 over the Z1/Z2?? Also, I take trips in the winter where its known to dip to -50f... whats better to run: a disc system or HDD? My solid state nav's have always worked fine and so has my stock GM disc unit... never ran an HDD system before.

Raiden
For really cold winter, you need the least moving parts. So the z2 has the extra hard drive and motorised screen.... Do you have an ipod? If yes, well you probably don't need to put your files inside the z2 hard disk? Do you have kids? If no, well you probably don't need the dual zone functions. Do you care seeing POI in 3D? If no, well you probably don't need the 3D POI function. Do you care about having a screen .9inch bigger??? If no, well you probably don't need this big screen size. Do you have an extra 1200$ to spend for these gadgets? If no, well stick with the D3, you will be happy!
Harix
I just had D3 about a month now, what bothers me the most: if you want to play dvd (for baby and family) and switch to navigation, you have to change the dvd, and vise versa. I wish I had the Z2.
