sid06
Hey guys, i really am not into the whole ipod thing at all. but now im considering it. My z2 pretty much acts like my ipod by holding all my music but now its time for video. i was thinking about getting the 6 disc cd/dvd changer from pioneer, but that just seems like the obsolete route to take. plus its cheaper to just get the ipod and ipod adapter than it is to buy the $600 piece from pioneer then pay god knows how much for a custom install. from what i understand the video ipod needs to be plugged into av input of the z2. so does that mean i dont need to get the ipod adapter? suggestions or other ideas are appreciated
garrettoomey
The Pioneer ipod adpater will only work for music, but give you touch screen control of the ipod. In order to view video, you will need to plug into the video input RCA's on the back of the AVIC, and control the video directly from the ipod controls.
