Has anyone with the Note 5 been able to connect with android auto? I just installed the 4200 NEX with the bypass and cant get it to connect, no matter what. even picked up the pioneer cable kit from best buy and had no luck. the phone shows charging

Thanks

There are 2 USB ports in the back, make sure you plugged into the correct port and your not in the IPhone one.

I did and thanks for the suggestion. I was able to finally get it to work, been trying for 3 days. apparently the different cables I was trying to use were not the "factory issued" cables that came for the Note 5. I grabbed my GF's cable that came with her Note 4 and it connected right away. so if anyone is trying to use a standard USB cable, you may have issues connecting. Now I just gotta order some Samsung OEM cables.

The note 5 still has the HDMI output so don't forget to grab that samsung cable to take advantage of it. I actually ran HDMI Output to the front of my lighterport. It worked great before I upgraded and realized no more HDMI support.
