barfer
#2 I have the same issue, does not read the actual HD size. As I posted before I believe its do the the unit itself. Just like a PC we need to find a way to get into the BIOS and make the changes to have it understand. If anyone here knows how to reset or boot to the BIOS then we can do more I think. make sure that you turn the Security off on the HD. If not its going to lock again once you put it in the Z1/Z2

barfer
I used all the free space for the songs (MSV partition) Software Acronis Disk Director Suite which I like better then Partition magic. Plus I am running Vista so have no choose for now. all u have to do is delete the freed space and resize the MSV partition. just make sure that you move the MSV next to the deleted partition before trying to resize it. also just to let you know that you Acronis Disk Director Suite trail. Must be the full or if you have some other software that can do this go for it.
ducatiboy
I'm not ignoring you, I just don't have any experience expanding the music partition and having it work and be useful. I don't rip that much music and I gave up. Sorry, I can't really help.
