well sense only the map data base was update nothing new sense the Z1 came out and thats over 2 years ago.

how depressing, Pioneer really should do some updated features and make more improvements. just a map update and they call it Z3 (funny). It would be better if they were to use the same calculation like google uses when mapping out directions. this will be my last purchase if nothing happens.

been away for awhile and just getting up to date on everything. just want to know what new features if any is on for Z3 other them the update Maps. Any new graphics options and so on. thanks

u can fdisk and clone the Z2 image again. if ur HD is lock then unlock it and go from there

So would you assume that these features will likely be in the Z3? can't see why it wouldn't be. As for the TV option can't say but would be very nice. bottom line is Pioneer with be on top if it came with more features n toys. I do like the 3D map for sure. I believe Acura already has the 3D map on their Nav. systems. time will tell...

if you get the new HD then no you do not need to pay to unlock the drive. just make sure that you turn off the security on/off on the HD before loading it into the Z1 or it will be locked. all you need is the files which is free and a HD

there is no better way. All does the same so if you want do it yourself. pioneer use toshiba as well.

too soon to say whats going to change and any new features. All I care is that I can upgrade via the HD and not have to buy a new unit. would be nice if the maps are more 3D with images of building and so on. Just have to see but think Pioneer will have something late next yr.

it depends on the HD so not to sure what the seller on ebay will use. why don't you do it yourself or have someone here do it for you. you will end up paying the same. I have no issues and like the new features so far.

just get the steering remote CD-SR11 from pioneer. works fine for me

interesting, you sure it was mp3 files?

just make sure that if you have alot of music stored on the HD. Clone the HD so you have a backup in case something happens

thats more then you need for a long time. have fund recording music
