MIGGERNAUGHT Posted September 26, 2007 Report Share Posted September 26, 2007 ok so i installed my xm reciever by connecting the power and ground, and not connecting the switched power because the flag on the cable says dont do this if you have the data cable hooked up. so i called xm and enabled my radio and traffic, but i only get xm radio, and it says updating on the map screen but all my traffic options are greyed out. any ideas? thanks dudes. MIGGERNAUGHT Posted September 26, 2007 Author Report Share Posted September 26, 2007 yes so i plugged in the cable that goes from my xm to my ipod connector to my avic z2, then i used the xm data cable to the z2.... is there any special setup i need to run thru to get the traffic buttons to show up? the guy at xm said to leave it in map mode for 20 minutes... did that mean map mode on channel 1? or map mode on any channel?
