need1234 Posted July 11, 2006 Report Share Posted July 11, 2006 hi all i just had a quick question i searched every where on the internet and no luck i just bought a AVIC 80dvd slave unit ( perfect working condition ) i have Avic d1 touch screen how can i use the 80dvd with d1 not for naviagation but for watching dvd my buddy had it hooked up with this avh 6500 unit for nav he just bought a n3 any tips plz thanks malik Quote Link to post Share on other sites
GnatGoSplat Posted July 14, 2006 Report Share Posted July 14, 2006 You need a Pioneer CD-RGB26P to convert the 26-pin RGB output to RCA composite, and then it can connect to the D1. It seems a waste to have an 80DVD and not use the nav portion of it though. It would make more sense to buy a DVD player.
