screaminsvt
Has anyone Mounted a Sirius and Navi Antenna between the Headliner and roof instead of running the wire outside??? Thanks, John
GnatGoSplat
It's a bad idea. Metal blocks the signal. Now if your roof is not made of metal, then it should work.
HiFiSi
If you don't want to put it on the exterior, the best place to put it is on the dash board, or inside the dashboard, as high up in there as you can get. The metal in the roof will block the satellite signal, but the glass windshield and the plastic dashboard will not.
screaminsvt
Thanks Everyone, I Mounted the Sirius On my roof next to my roof rack so it blends it and just put the NAV on my dash tucked away in the corner, now it all works great!!! The Sirius cuts out here and there going under bridges, or around tall trees (I live out in the country) But Again, Thanks for your Responces.
