tacoma
Last night I actually had the need to know my elevation - My old Garmin and Magelian GPS units both provided this...but I could not find it on the Z1...am I missing something?
03Aviator
You know what? I was wondering the same thing! I haven't looked for it. If it's not there, that is a stupid oversight. Even the factory system in my Acura has it!
Slick 6MT
Anyone know if it's on there?
ducatiboy
I haven't seen it on the Z1, but then I haven't seen it on my Acura either.
Slick 6MT
I haven't seen it on my Acura either.
On my old 03' TL it had it and my Mom's 05' Acura RL it's there. When viewing the map you push the interface dial in then hit "Information" and it tells you the longitude, latitude, street name and number and elevation.
ducatiboy
We have a 06 MDX, and there is no "interface dial" but I would bet if one has it, it's in there somewhere. Like the Z1, I haven't figured out how to use it all yet.
edrock200
I could be wrong, but I think elevation is one of the guages you can set on the guage screen.

I'm going to go out and look!! Steve, on my 06 Acura TL, you just take your finger and touch the circle around your present location. It pops up a screen showing your current longitude, latitude, address, and elevation!!
