cochese Posted October 14, 2007 Author Report Share Posted October 14, 2007 I want to use the digital out of the z2 to the digital in of the 701. There is a separate controller for the alpine processor I just ordered the box from pioneer. CXC3584. Should get here soon. Should allow me to use a toslink optical cable to connect to an external processor. This will alleviate the 2 volt preout issue, and decouple the headunit electrically to reduce system noise. cochese Posted May 19, 2009 Author Report Share Posted May 19, 2009 Well... not only did the processor not work, but it has totally proprietary cabling / interfaces. So... I hooked it up through rca's and the system sounds phenominal after weeks of tuning. The only issue really is dual volume controls. I have not been able to fix one of the volume controls because of the feedback issues with the bluetooth. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
