felix
After much trepidation, I finally went ahead with the Upgrade... I used a used 80GB Toshiba drive, Acronis true image and then Disk Director 10 expand the MSV volume and now have a 50 GB Music partition!!! Next I want to try a 7200RPM drive to see if it is faster. I can already tell this 5400 RPM drive is better than the stock drive. Anyone have a 7200 RPM drive and can say it is any faster?
dprofeta
I sent you a pm but how did you increase the music partition? Can you point me in the right direction or do a write up. Any reboots since the install?

SemoTech
Here you go, I did it on my 60GB Toshiba, read HERE Really simple using Acronis Disk Director, though it does change the cluster size from 4K to 8K, but it does not seem to matter to the Z1/Z2. S.F.W.
I don't think the 7200 RPM drive will work.

F150 Duke
so i shouldnt try the 7200rpm ????? should i just stick with the 80gb 5400rpm I would. I've read two other posts from guys who tried the 7200 but keep getting reboots. They think it's due to the extra power consumption as to why they both get reboots every 10 minutes.
