bones
I was wondering if anyone here has used the phone function enough on the Avic Z1 to answer this question: Once I dial a phone number with the on-screen number pad, is there any way to keep the screen up after the other party picks up? I ask because there are instances such as when I dial my voicemail, where I would still need to press additional keys after the phone call is initiated. Thanks in advance! djmixmac
Yeah, I wanted that feature to access my voicemail or when I call numbers that require touch tones. But I think they didn't do this feature cause of a safety liability, you shouldn't be dialing out while driving.
ghirsh
I can understand the lockout of the dialpad while alrady on a call, but most systems allow you to insert a pause (using a comma) to allow additional numbers to be dialed after connection. Anyone know how to do this on a Z2?

Anyone know how to do this on a Z2? Not off the top of my head. Have you tried setting up the sequence on your phone in a contact, then sending that contact over? I have a feeling the pauses wouldn't carry over, but since I'm not sure either way, it's worth a shot.
