TripleD Posted November 9, 2007 Report Share Posted November 9, 2007 I have a Z2 made in July. There are 2 harnesses on the back correct? A white one and a black one. Both of these are completely populated. The wire #2 that i am supposed to ground is a RCA wire for a speaker. How do i do this bypass. I know you all think i am crazy and don't know what i am doing but i do, and i promise there are no empty holes. Is there a chance that during July that had a different kind of harness? I have the ebrake wire grounded. I just need this wire #2. HELP! Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Power, connector 1, and connector 2. You are obviously missing one. Get one and stop double posting Quote Link to post Share on other sites

eod nhoj Posted November 10, 2007 Report Share Posted November 10, 2007 there are 3 connectors with the z2.the wire harness you need to be using for the bypass,will have connections for eg: REAR MONITOR OUTUT,WIRED REMOTE INPUT,REAR VIEW IN,REAR VIEW MONITOR OUTPUT AND GUIDE ON. your installer probably misplaced it for you.if you didnt install any rear cams or monitors no need for it.except for Bypass. when you do get 1 if you still dont plan to have any rear cams or monitors.you can remove those wires from the connector.that way you dont need to try and stuff them in dash.just an idea Quote Link to post Share on other sites
