Preroll
I just acquired an AVIC-W8600NEX. The track log apparently can be exported out to an SD card using the gpx file format. The card that was installed had music and video files on it but it was formatted as FAT32. When I went to export the log it came back with an error: Failed to create path for track log /udisk/tracks/Trip 001 - 01 -14-2022 22-50-06.gpx. Check the storage card. Any ideas? Preroll
Been over two years and this issue is still present. Obviously a "permissions" issue in writing but since I can't make the head unit go into "sudo" mode, I was wondering if this is just a permanent bug or not. Seems like Pioneer has given up on support and releasing new double DIN NAV head units as newer cars are designed not to accept them anymore. I'm probably beating a dead horse at this point but still curious after all this time if anyone else has run into this or not.
asd255
what version of FW do you have? in the first versions of FW there was an export error.
Preroll
I will check but there are no firmware updates on Pioneer's site for the AVIC-W8600NEX. There are for older models like the 8500. Where did you find that list?
Preroll
I checked. It's v.1.02 but again, there are no updates for this model I believe.
