shacall Posted November 13, 2007 Report Share Posted November 13, 2007 Hi, I've noticed a few others having this issue, but I wasn't sure what the clear answer was. My XM presets are erased every time I shut off my truck. I'm assuming it has something to do with the power wire. Does the XM module need constant power...or just ACC? I was hoping that I just didn't know how to use the presets, but it looks like I made a rookie mistake...and will need to rip apart my dash once again Thanks! Quote Link to post Share on other sites

The unit powers on and off via a signal from the D3 over the IPBUS cable rather than the power wire being switched. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
