superstar1982
I was told to install a resistor on my 2007 Escape in order to prevent the factory sub from thumping, does anyone know what size resistor I require? I had heard 2.4k ohm but not sure what wattage Also looking for easy places to access the vss and reverse wires... colors would be helpful too My vehicle does have the Reverse Sensing system and the Mach Audio system
superstar1982
Does anyone know what size the in line resistors for the ACC and Illumination wires are? Would they work for my factory sub?
cntrylvr79
anything between 2.4k and 3k will work. No the resistors on the ill and reverse will not work for you. They're too small go to the rat shack they're cheap enough there.
doug92868
your gonna need two resisters. one goes in line with the remote amp turn on and the other gets grounded. You connect both resisters to the radio side of the remote turn on wire. Then connect one resister to the amp side of the wire. the other will be grounded. I have had this problem with mustangs and the mach and shakers systems
