lee roberts Posted December 7, 2007 Report Share Posted December 7, 2007 I have a z-1 with the z2 upgrade and two wire bypass and backup camera. For the past 4 months the unit has worked perfect until the last few days I am getting this warning that the emergency brake not hooked up properly and it just keeps coming up after ending it on the screen. Some of my functions work and some have quit working, I am talking about the functions that are enabled by the two wire bypass while the car is moving. lee roberts Posted December 7, 2007 Author Report Share Posted December 7, 2007 I also checked in the settings screen which indicates that the parking break is on, which I thought indicated that the two wire bypass is still working? I have also done a soft reset by using the pen to activate the reset. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
rrmccabe Posted December 7, 2007 Report Share Posted December 7, 2007 Bad connection with the pin you added with the two wire. I had the same issue. During the install, the pin I added to the harness (and grounded) was not secure and worked out. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
