SafetyLighting
I will start by apologizing because I'm sure the info is already mentioned, but I couldn't find it while searching. I have a 2007 Dodge Charger, and am installing an AVIC-D3. I ordered the Factory Navigation bezel, the CHYAH05, and of course the D3. I need an antennna adapter and what else to complete the install? I am holding off on the steering wheel controls for now. I called an install shop and they tried to sell me a Metra 76-504 amplifier bypass, ???. Thank you for all the help guys. Ldc2335
goto crutchfield.com and enter your vehicle w/ factory navigation and it will tell ya what ya need...do not get the amp bypass harness because it will not provide you with the reverse signal, speed signal or parking brake signal....you really need the chto-01 even though it cost more http://www.crutchfield.com/S-KENcTVbqdn ... &s=0&cc=01 http://www.crutchfield.com/S-KENcTVbqdn ... &s=0&cc=01 http://www.crutchfield.com/S-KENcTVbqdn ... &s=0&cc=01 and if you want to keep your factory steering wheel controls, your gonna need a http://www.crutchfield.com/S-KENcTVbqdn ... i=127SWIPS and a http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/ ... =127SWICAN this is my jeep commander install which happens to use all the exact same parts since its made by chrysler also.. http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=11702

ChristopherLCamacho
depending on if you have premium sound or not you may need that amp integrator harness, if not a standard chrystler harness will work, dont remember the exact metra part number, the one other harness gives you switched acc. power which is like 100 bucks, you can grabbed switched acc. at the cig plug, and meter the wire. that will save you some money there unless you have the premium sound
cntrylvr79
c2r-chy best peice I've used for doing nav in chryslers. I've had issues with pretty much every other interface except for that one. Even works with the factory amp if you have one.
bigfuzz23
Will using the pac unit connect the vss or give you the speed signal??
cntrylvr79
Yep the pac module gives you everything at the radio too. VSS, reverse, illumination, parking brake (if you want to hook it up right, but who wants to do that), and interfaces the factory amp if you have one.
