maxschad@comcast.net
Installed my D3 in my GTI today. I can't get any radio stations. I bought the powered antenna adapter but there are two antenna leads on the back of my radio. I tried both and neither one works. Can anyone help? I hooked the power lead up to the blue antenna wire from the D3 wire harness.

If that's not it, I don't know what is. Maybe something with the antenna adapter.
twoie
if it's like the z2 and it's wired a little wrong; you have to go into the menu and turn on the power antena
maxschad@comcast.net
I tried both of those. It is on the solid blue wire and I tried switching from tuner to power in the settings to no avail.

Don't mean to insult your intelligence or anything, but did you plug in the black antenna cable into the back of the D3?
maxschad@comcast.net
Yes I did... very firmly! Does anyone know if the aftermarket adapter is "supposed" to plug into the white or the beige plug from the factory antenna cable?
32valvefox
there is a resistor inside that powered antenna adapter. take that resistor out and conect wires together. that should fix your problem
